Tea Collection: Rose Petals

One of my favorite tea ingredients is rose petals, not only are they a powerhouse for health and skin care, you can easily grown them in your own garden! AND all rose petals are edible so you can curate your roses in any way you want! The rule of thumb is, the sweeter the smell the sweeter the taste.

Benefits of Rose Petal Tea include: Hydration, Weight Loss, Antioxidants, Alleviates Menstrual Pain, Liver Support, Anti-Cancer Properties, Laxative Benefits, Promotes Relaxation and Supports Heart Health.

The Antibacterial properties of the rose petals make it a wonderful addition to skin care salve and lip balm.

Don’t have rose petals available in the garden right now? Not to worry, you can quickly order some here to hold you over until your summer harvest.

Roses hold a very special place in my heart. My Great Grandmother Agnes Moore grew them along her driveway. Roses were her pride and joy. Her passion for the rose grew with her daughter Clarice as well. When Agnes passed away, Clarice transplanted several of her roses to her own gorgeous rose garden.

When Ross and I got married, we had the great fortune to have those sacred roses grace our marriage alter. A treasure of a memory.
