When I tell you that I had a vision for every room of this house when we first looked at it, I would not be lying. And to tell you that each room has come together just like my vision, I wouldn’t be lying then either. We moved into this 1949 home as first time home owners, with very little know how but a lot of ambition.

at our anniversary dinner, Ross told me that we were going to the Diamond Shop and I could pick out what I wanted. After a few minutes I said “would it be weird if I would rather spend that money on some power tools?” This man looked at me like I was from another planet. I don’t know if was love or a moment of shear panic that he didn’t know who he had married but after dinner we went to The Home Depot and I bought several Ryobi pieces to get us started

We haven’t looked back since. We’ve been tackling this house room by room, powered by Pinterest, YouTube and the incredible wealth of knowledge from our family and friends. Each rooms design has come from my own creative brain. The more we do, the more confidence we gain and the bigger my ideas get!
